6 Day-Trip: Itinerary for Bali on a short trip



 For those of you are first time visiting Bali and don’t have a lot of time, but you want to have a memorable time on the island.  Here is  Bali Travel Info shares with you how to spend your time effectively without the hassle.  Bali is a small island and the road traffics most of the time is very busy.  The best is waking up early, having an early breakfast, arranging a transport the day before, so your driver is ready to pick you up in the morning.  I would recommend you to have a charter private car will save you money and energy.  Also you can customize your own trips in no time.  There’re many private drivers  on the island, with air conditioning cars, insurance, and the drivers have tourist driving licenses.

Here is the 6-Day trip Itinerary
If your plan to stay in south Bali, you can see most of the island on the day tour, and you can go back to your hotel every night.  Of course, you can always customize this itinerary according to your priorities and time constraints. First question, what kind of traveler you are. Bali is a very diverse travel destination, and it caters to different types of personalities. So, you can plan accordingly…
Anywhere you go on the island, make sure enjoy of the  tranquil countryside, dramatic coastline and attend at least one temple festival. You could literally spend a week on the island and still would be having a great memory of your visit the island.


Day 1,

Start with Bukit Peninsula: check out the luxurious Nusa Dua cliff and beaches, and on the way you can stop to have a blast on one of those five star hotels for fresh drink or just enjoy the panorama.  Continue the trip to Tanjung Benoa for water sports and having lunch at a beach side restaurant.  Then you drive to  visit the cliff top temple at Uluwatu to enjoy the spectacular sunset and monkeys around the temple.  On the way to go back to your hotel, stop at Jimbaran Bay for hanging out at the beautiful beach along with a seafood dinner as the sun goes down.



Day 2,

The next day, leaving your hotel early and  go to Ubud.  On your way to Ubud you can stop in several craft stores, silver smith jewelry stores, Balinese handy crafts, Arts, and enjoy kecak dance, (acapella traditional Balinese sing and dance) continue the scenic rice field roads.  For lunch, stop at one of Ubud’s  excellent restaurants, and visit at least 2 museums in Ubud areas. If you still have time, you should go to visit the Goa Gajah cave, Gunung Kawi temple, and Tampak Siring (Holy Spring Water).

Day3,

East Bali, you can take a scenic ride from Rendang, around Agung slopes to Amlapura, then following the coast and back to south Bali via Candidasa beach. Or you can take detours to Besakih temple; the southern road through Sidemen village ; around the eastern peninsula; and to the Tenganan village or Padangbai.   More stops if would like, include Putung, Tirta Gangga, and Semarapura (Klungkung regency).



Day 4,

Midwest of Bali, your day trip to the Mengwi temple, Sangeh monkey forest, the memorial monument at Margarana, Subak Museum at Tabanan regency with scenic roads.  You can finish up your day trip to enjoy spectacular sunsets in the Tanah Lot temple and having dinner.

Day5,

Gunung Batur, There are several interesting  routes to Batur.  You can take Bedulu and Tampaksiring; Tegalalang through several craft villages and along scenic rides.  Having lunch at one of Batur restaurants with Batur mountain view.
 Another possibility, take Gianyar and Bangli regency; or Semarapura, Rendang and Besakih.  Don't worry be happy! Discuss all your plans with the driver, I believe you 'll have a blast here.




Day 6, 

North Bali: Start early, this day trip most people do on the north coast is via Gunung Batur. Explore Singaraja Regency, Lovina, Banjar and Air Sanih. On the way to Danau Beratan, stop at Gitgit waterfall, Ulun Danu temple, Danau Beratan, and the Botanical garden in Bedugul.  Pick each location for a lunch and a dinner with spectacular restaurant views.  Have fun!
