New world record for Paragliders on the island of Bali


 “Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing comprising a large number of interconnected baffled cells.”

Paragliding is not unusual sport you see on the Bali beaches.  The tropical wind and the beaches are perfect sport for the paragliders.  This October is a special paragliding event on the island.


Around 120 colorful paragliders scattering the Bali’s sky on Sunday, as waiting for a new world record. The largest number of paragliders flying at the same time on the beautiful Bali island.


The gliders set off from rugged cliff tops  off in the south Bali of the resort island, and they flew high into the sky, floating over the sea, Hindu temples, and south Bali landscape.
